The 2017 Esri DevSummit was all about The Science of Where, Esri’s new, appropriately named, tagline and mission. Revolving around this tagline, the event which attracted more than 2,000 attendees from around the World, was a coming out party of sorts to introduce us to the concept of the Science or Where and to ArcGIS 10.5.
ArcGIS 10.5, the next generation of GIS, according to Esri, has been designed to simplify and amplify the work of GIS users and professionals everywhere. The Esri Partner Conference (EPC) and DevSummit was our chance to hear first-hand from the architects of 10.5 and learn about business partner opportunities, enabling technologies, community resources, tools, new technologies and more. ArcGIS at 10.5 is the platform for Esri developers to build on moving forward, design to support rich, 3D mapping that can combine mapping, analytics with real-time data to connect people and organizations around the World.
While on location in Palm Springs at EPC and DevSummit we captured a number of images and videos during the week. Trust google (G+) to create a nifty photo montage that does a nice job of summarizing what took place during the week. Enjoy the sights from DevSummit as captured by @gletham. DevSummit was our chance to showcase the latest in Admin Tools and our GEOpowered Cloud solutions and the reception to our latest solutions was fantastic!
