Chief Executive Officer, David Hansen, and Operations Director, Danny Menikiheim present sponsorship check to the Robotics team, Team Fusion

GEO Jobe is proud to announce the sponsorship of Gulfport High School’s Team Fusion Robotics team #364. GEO Jobe’s sponsorship gives their Team the opportunity to grow in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Team Fusion strives to develop approaches to positively affect the community and their efforts have been recognized by the scientific community such as winning the Samsung Solve Tomorrow for the State of Mississippi 3 out of the last 4 years, and in 2016 and 2020 select members from Team Fusion were the recipients of grants from the LEMELSON MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) InvenTeam program to create a boat lift to assist people with disabilities to board marine vessels.

Team Fusion’s program utilizes robots to build better minds and future leaders. GEO Jobe’s sponsorship gives the team the opportunity to grow and learn teamwork, work management, communications and participate in public outreach.

“As a graduate of Gulfport High School and a citizen of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I am so very proud to have GEO Jobe participate in the sponsorship of an organization that creates so much positivity and opportunity.” – David Hansen, Chief Executive Officer at GEO Jobe

GEO Jobe is delighted to be a sponsor to a team of bright, young individuals who are making advancements in the field of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. We look forward to seeing their achievements this year and many years to come.
