GEO Jobe is proud to announce a new partnership with a local nonprofit to build wheelchair ramps for residents throughout Mississippi.

GEO Jobe presented a $2,500 donation earlier this quarter to MISSISSIPPI Heroes in support of their Ramp It Up Program. MISSISSIPPI Heroes is a 501c3 nonprofit based in Gulfport, whose mission to celebrate family, professional and community caregivers. The organization’s Ramp It Up Program is dedicated to building home ramps for seniors and physically challenged citizens throughout Mississippi.

As part of the partnership, GEO Jobe is serving as a sponsor for the 5th Annual Gulf Coast Beer and Bacon Festival on Saturday, March 2, 2024. This year’s festival will host more than 40 breweries and restaurants offering beer tastings, cocktail tastings, favorite bacon and chocolate dishes to sample. All proceeds benefit the organization’s work, including their Ramp It Up Program.

“We are thrilled to be able to support such a great cause. The MISSISSIPPI Heroes group is doing great work and shares GEO Jobe’s vision of improving our local community,” said Danny Menikheim, Chief Operating Officer. “We are grateful to be a part of this initiative to build these much-needed wheelchair ramps.”
