Where in the World is GEO Jobe in Q1?
As the confetti clears and everyone gets back to business after the holiday hustle, GEO Jobe is looking forward to an exciting new year and a busy first quarter!
GEO Jobe team members will be attending various events this Winter and Spring, where we’ll be doing what we love most—connecting with peers and clients (second only to creating innovative GIS solutions).
GIS Association of Alabama: Jan. 24th
Managing an ArcGIS Online (AGOL) organization can be time-consuming, especially for admins overseeing user permissions, content, and system maintenance.
Randee Miller, Deputy Director of GIS Services at GEO Jobe, will demonstrate leveraging Admin Tools for ArcGIS Online to support clients during a live presentation for the GIS Association of Alabama. Admin Tools for ArcGIS Online is a suite of user-friendly tools designed to simplify tasks. AT enables GIS professionals to focus on map creation, app development, and data analysis.
This presentation will highlight key features such as bulk user management, automated group assignments, content cleanup, and streamlining workflows demonstrating how you can save time, improve efficiency, and keep your organization running smoothly! Whether you’re new to AGOL or an experienced admin, this session offers valuable insights to enhance your workflow and overall experience using Admin Tools!
The session will take place Friday, Jan. 24, 2025.

Gulf Coast Beer, Bacon & BBQ Fest: March 1st
The Gulf Coast Beer, Bacon & BBQ Festival has become an annual tradition for GEO Jobe. We are proud to sponsor this charity event each year. This year’s event, set for Saturday, March 1 from 7-10 p.m., will also serve up chocolate and cocktails! With more than 40 breweries and restaurants offering beer tastings and bacon dishes to sample, there’s no wonder why crowds flock to this event year after year.
We love it even more for what it makes possible in our local communities. All proceeds from the festival go to support Mississippi Heroes, an organization that celebrates everyday family, professional and community caregivers like heroes. Specifically, sales make the organization’s Ramp It Up program possible – enabling the construction of wheelchair ramps for residents throughout the Gulf Coast and surrounding areas.
