We are pleased to be announcing another great hire! Most recently, we’ve recruited Courtney Kirkham to our Dev team to fill the role of Jr. Application Developer.
Courtney will contribute to our existing team of engineers and architects to assist in front-end development, configuring, managing and implementing enterprise-grade Web GIS systems with a focus on the ArcGIS ecosystem.
Kirkham graduated in December, 2017 from the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics (Honors). Additionally, she interned with the Naval Research Laboratory at Stennis Space Center and worked in the NASA DEVELOP program. Courtney proudly started the Computer Science Club at USM and was it’s inaugural Vice President. During her time at USM she competed in hackathons and prepared demonstrations for students at the university on technologies not covered in the classroom.
Courtney’s skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related technologies will contribute greatly in supporting our application development team and will add to the existing robust team of industry leading developers and solution engineers at GEO Jobe. She’s been interning with GEO Jobe since January 2018.
“Courtney is an excellent addition to our existing robust team of developers. She has grown to be a wonderful team member through her three month internship. We look forward to Courtney growing even more as part of the GEO Jobe team over the next several years! ” – David Hansen Chief Operating Officer
