GEO Jobe Previews Cutting-Edge ArcGIS Tool at Esri UC

Conference Unites Team GEO Jobe with New and Longtime Business Partners Across Multiple Industries

Attendees at the 2024 Esri User Conference (UC), held in July, got a firsthand immersive look at GEO Jobe’s exciting new Admin Tools feature—the Virtual Reality 3D Knowledge Graph.

Additionally, this year’s conference theme, “GIS—Uniting Our World,” came to fruition as Team GEO Jobe united with new and longtime business partners across multiple industries during the Expo.

In this article, we’ll recap the most notable highlights of GEO Jobe’s week at the world’s biggest GIS conference in sunny San Diego.

Unveiling a Universe of ArcGIS Content to Explore

If you were at this year’s Esri UC, you may be one of many people who experienced an up close and immersive virtual reality demo of GEO Jobe’s upcoming feature in its Admin Tools for ArcGIS app.

Team GEO Jobe debuted a preview of the Virtual Reality 3D Knowledge Graph, designed to give users a multidimensional map view of their Organizational content.

“Companies can lose sight of how big their universe of content expands to over time. Until now, there has never been a great way to see your ArcGIS Organization’s content and take in lots of information at once,” says Michael Roberson, GEO Jobe’s Chief Technology Innovation Officer. “This new tool will be transformative in how ArcGIS Administrators view and manage their Organization’s content.”

The 3D graph feature is slated for release in the Admin Tools app by end of 2024.

A Place for Partnership

One of the most exciting things about this year’s User Conference was the opportunity for GEO Jobe to connect with new and longtime business partners from all over. During the Expo, GEO Jobe met with executives and team members representing its newest partners, Baron Weather and AerialSphere

Through the partnership with Baron Weather, GEO Jobe’s clients have access to geospatial and weather-related resources, data, and technologies they might not otherwise have discovered.

Meanwhile, GEO Jobe established a reseller partnership with AerialSphere to equip GIS professionals with their Oriented Imagery technology, transforming imagery from drones, smartphones, and 360° cameras into actionable GIS data.

Leveling Up with con terra

Aside from seeing new friends at this year’s User Conference, GEO Jobe reunited with our old friends at con terra for a special milestone. Con terra signed an agreement to become an official reseller of GEO Jobe solutions in Europe.

As the official North American reseller for con terra, GEO Jobe offers its product security.manager NEXT to our customers. security.manager extends the security model of ArcGIS, allowing Administrators to define permissions not just at the service level, but also to allow authorization of content at the layer-, feature-, and even spatial level.

Check out this case study of how GEO Jobe helped The City of Winter Park, FL use security.manager NEXT to implement fine grained control over department-centric ArcGIS Web AppBuilder applications, ultimately saving the City money.

We also ran into other partners during the UC Expo, including SeerAI and GEOMarvel.
